IMO, the time to have sent a validation would have been when you got the initial notice they were attempting to collect or at least when you got served. I assume that they got a default judgement?

The CA caved in and called the case closed. And removed their TL from my reports. They never provided me anything more than something typed on their letterhead, not even a copy of a statement or computer printout.
But there is that little difference in numbers that calls to my budget planning side, lol!
